Join us in collaboration with The Council for the Arts for a 3 part mask making project

To register you must be able to complete all 3 sessions

DAY 2

On day two we will start thinking about your design elements, colors, structure and ways in which these masks could be used and or displayed. This will also include some private, written brainstorming about questions of identities, how we perceive ourselves, and how we project ourselves. These written exercises will help you to better design and decide about what colors and materials to use in the final artwork, while also providing you with the framework from which to write a short artist’s statement. You will have the option to add to and/or remove sections of the mask, and you will be invited to look through our supplies and make decisions about what you would like to add: glitter feathers, rhinestones, rocks, nails, broken pieces of glass are all possibilities. Please feel free to bring in other items you may have at home
